This after-five event, hosted by WHUR's Tony Richards, features a delectable buffet dinner and performances by contemporary jazz saxophonists Art Sherrod and Marion Meadows.
Known around the DC/Baltimore area and throughout the East Coast for his smooth urban sound, Art Sherrod returns to the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival by popular demand to perform classic favorites from his most recent recordings, All 4 Love and New Seasons.
Marion Meadows' sweet, funky soprano saxophone sound has been embraced by fans all over the world for the last 15 years. He has shared the stage with some of the nation's top jazz artists recording or performing over the years with Brook Benton, Eartha Kitt, Phyllis Hyman, Jean Carne, The Temptations, Michael Bolton, Angela Bofill, and Will Downing and now for the first time ever, is bringing his hot sound to Prince Georges County!
